FAQs

What are the fees associated with joining the team?

Fees vary by season and year, but our goal is always to keep costs as affordable as possible. Typically, registration ranges from $300–$350 per season.

First-year players may see a slightly higher registration fee, which covers the cost of a jersey and hat. These are yours to keep for the duration of your time with Parsippany Baseball Club. A manager or coach will reach out via email with the exact registration amount for each season.

What if we signed up our child & a complete team is unable to be formed.

While our goal is to roster 11-12 players per team, we understand that this isn’t always possible. If a team cannot be formed for your child’s age group, a full refund will be issued using the original payment method.

When and where are the games played?

All games are played on Sundays (game times TBD). Games are played on 50/70 fields, meaning:

  • Pitching distance: 50 feet (vs. 45 feet in recreational baseball)

  • Base paths: 70 feet (vs. 60 feet in recreational baseball)

We’re fortunate to have secured Taylor Field at Parsippany–Troy East Little League as our home field. Please note that we do not expect to host home games at this location until after April 15, 2025, when the complex opens for play.

My child plays for a different travel team, can he join the Redtails?

Possibly. League rules limit the number of shared players within the same division to four players per team. Players are free to participate on teams outside of their division, but separate registration fees may apply for each team they join - this is all dependent on the team.

If you have questions about eligibility, we’re happy to discuss your specific situation.

We’re unable to make practice or games do to scheduling conflicts, how will this affect my athlete?

We understand that many players participate in multiple sports or teams. Player safety and well-being always come first.

If your athlete is unable to attend a practice or game, please notify a coach or manager, or update your availability in GameChanger, so we can plan practices and lineups accordingly. We understand that last-minute situations happen — just do your best to give advance notice whenever possible.
